After thirty minutes of consistent use, a Peak or Mythos grinder may easily end up more consistent than an EK43 or Ditting because of this system. Lots more to think about. I just ordered a Ditting KR804. I suspect it is the same since the housing in the KR805 (same as Tanzania) is probably similar to the KR804's housing. I talked with Nancy at Ditting for a while when ordering it. She said something about the felt ring. I think it was in regard to dark roasts coffee oils building up in the felt ring.
