For the LS, LT and non ss balt the syncromesh is a semi syn and is about $4 a quart at the dealer. I looked at the print out and it says replace 6 quarts of transmission fluid. so now on that new transmission fluid, there is about 50K miles on it.Web

This will replace nearly all the fluid another option would be vacuum suction out the dipstick tube. This will replace about the same amount of fluid as if there was a drain plug in the pan.
