Cant remember the last time I used the knee lock. Boring tool steel ( H13 A2 P20 ),I would lock the spindel in the up position and feed the table up cranking the knee. When I saw a new hire using table / knee locks cutting aluminum with a 3/8 endmill, he's days were numbered. On my 6x26 mill, yes I use locks cuz it's a toy of a machine.Web
